We're told Artificial Intelligence learns the way humans learn.

This is under discussion since the very beginning of this mathematical discipline. Recently at Google one of the leading scientists claimed having determined that the most advanced algorithms secretly under development there is showing some form of consciousness. This is hardly believable, and here is one of the many explanations of why. More deeply it's now very clear to people involved in these research topics that we still miss important parts of how our brain is able to enhance our knowledge and decision-making capabilities.
